The giants crystal and tableware was inspired by the highly distinctive hexagonal forms of the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland. I wanted to design a product that had a clear visual identity with the hexagonal forms without having to reproduce the exact form of the giants causeway.

The glasses form a collection of elegant but extremely contemporary tableware that are distinctive from the mass produced glassware and tableware in most retail outlets. The design also allows for simple stacking of the glasses to save on shipping and storage space.

The design could be presented as a souvenir but also a strong piece of design in its own right.The set consists of glassware and ceramic tableware.
